TON created history when it compiled and published the first ever printed directory of TITians. The T. I. T. Red Book offered a compilation of contact details of more than one thousand TITians, spread all over the world. It also carried a collection of vintage photographs - dated as old as 1947, and brief profiles of around 50 TITians.
The T. I. T. Red Book was highly appreciated by everyone who saw it, and is perhaps the most popular book amongst all TITians, even today. The program organized by TON for the release of T. I. T. Red Book was a grand success and was attended by a large number of TITians, from India and abroad.
Mr. Balwant Rai Bhatnagar, who happens to be the First Student to have enrolled in our institute in the year 1943 and has been associated with the institute for several decades, in his address during the Red Book Release program, said, "TITOBA On Net has achieved what the entire fraternity could not manage in more than 50 years!"
I must place on record, my gratitude to all the TITians who whole-heartedly supported this initiative in various ways, and must state that it would not have been possible to publish the Red Book without the support that came my way from all corners.
I am pleased to inform you that TITOBA On Net is now moving ahead with its plans to release the Second Edition of Red Book.
The Red Book II will offer much more than the first edition, in terms of contact details of TITians, memorable vintage photographs, unforgettable incidents and anecdotes and features on distinguished TITians.
Watch out for more news and details about the Red Book II in the days to come!!!
