TITOBA / TITOSA Chapters in Different Locations

The camaraderie, strong bonding amongst TITians is unmatched, and not seen in the alumni of even the best and top of the line professional colleges, in India, or abroad. Conventionally, the formation of the ex-students have been known as TITOBA, which expands to T. I. T. Old Boys Association.

It is not inappropriate to say that the word TITOBA is in itself a BRAND. Although, of late, there have been some discussions about renaming TITOBAs as TITOSAs, becuase - as some people think - that it is not just BOYS who graduate from the college, but the fact remains that the brand-value, recognition, recall and popularity of the word TITOBA is unmatched. Taking it further, some people also suggest that it should be TITSOSA because the name of institute has changed. To each, his/her own....

Ir-respective of the debate over the name, it is a universal truth that there are TITOBA all across India, and also outside India, which have been in existence for several decades, and have contributed significantly in keeping the flock together.

It is but natural that all these chapters - if we can call them that - should find a mention here on TITOBA On Net, along with the details of TITians who have played a key-role in the formation and growth of these chapters, and at times in revival of the formations that went passive.

Here is a list of these TITOBA/ TITOSA chapters:
