Informal Get-together on 18 Dec., 2010
TITOBA On Net organized an informal get-together of TITians on Saturday, 18 December, 2010 at Gurgaon. The get-together was attended by over 100 TITians ranging from 1956 to 2010 batches from various streams.

Prof. R. C. D. Kaushik, Ex-Director, of the Institute and Dr. Rishi Jamdagni, 1976, current director of the Insitute also travelled to Gurgaon to attend the get-together.

The informal get-together was held at the Pind Baluchi, located at the Sector 29, in Gurgaon and a cocktail-dinner, was organised on the evening of Saturday, 18th December, 2010.

The arrangements for the get-together, were managed by Devanshi Arts, an Event Management Company being run by Mr. Vineet Gera, 2001 batch [MBA].

How The Get-together Was Planned?
The thought for this get together came-up during a meeting at Gurgaon, in which  Rajesh Dudeja, 1986, Ramneek Nagpal, 1994, Kapil Tyagi, 1995, Arvind Oberoi, 1997, Charan Singh, 1999, Neeraj Duggal 1999, and Amit Uppal, 2003, were present.

During general chit chat, the conversation veered towards the recent get-together organized by TITOBA On Net on 24 July 2010 and Mr. Nagpal asked if another get-together was on the cards. As nothing had been finalized but the idea for get-together was a welcome one, the group started thinking of a suitable day/date, and unanimously decided that Saturday, 18th December, 2010, would be just right.

Mr. Arvind Oberoi took the lead and offered assistance in fixing the venue, and within a few minutes a pencil booking for VATIKA, Pind Baluchi, Sector 29, had been done by him. Subsequently, Mr. Oberoi was connected to Mr. Vineet Gera, 2001 [MBA], who took charge from that point onwards for making further necessary arrangements for the informal get-together.
