I have received an email from Dr. K. L. Gandhi, along with a few photographs, which he received from Mr. Kultar Singh Bhullar, who had very painstakingly preserved them over the last 50 years.

The pictures were taken, perhaps, at the time of going for the Final Year Study Tour.

I am quoting a para from Dr. Gandhi's email, below:

"I wonder if you could put the snaps on the web site with a note that if any body can recognize  their photo, they should contact you in the first instance and also to us on the mail - kim.gandhi@virgin.net and kultarsbhullar@yahoo.com"

I am not very sure how many of those who are seen in the photographs, would actually see them on our website, but definitely it would be an interesting exercise, for the senior TITians, to identify TITians in these photographs.

"We intend to organize a reunion of 1958 batch, first trying to establish how many can be contacted, and then to proceed further with as many as we can. It might be an artist impression but 'He who dare wins'. We want to give a go."

I wish Dr. Gandhi's initiative, to organize a reunion of 1958 batch, bears fruit, and most of the 1958 batch mates come together on the occasion of completion of 50 years, and the Golden Jubilee celebration of the 1958 batch become a memorable event.

Let us all join hands and spread the word around, and make sure that the maximum possible number of 1958 Batch TITians make it to the proposed re-union.

On my part, I commit total support, help and assistance to the 1958 Batch in making their re-union a grand success.
